The 2×4 Gravel Circuit Race, the most challenging Cannonball of the series, with a ~2+ mile course that has over 250’ of elevation gain per lap…..you choose 2 hours of pain or 4 hours of all-out suffering; the person with the most laps wins. Race this one by yourself or with a teammate and bring your cheering squad as this is the most fan friendly gravel race in the country with great opportunities to watch the race happen all over the course. Bonfires, hooting, hollering, a great post-race meal, in-race nutrition support including hot drinks, a BYOB friendly racecourse and a heated rest area/race HQ, everything you want for a great gravel race in the middle of winter!
The first ever Cannonball MTB race on the rocking CampO MTB course. Come experience the fast and flowy CampO trail network with a rocking ~10 mile course. Three distance options for all levels of rider, Beginner at ~10 miles, Sport at ~20 miles and Expert at ~30 miles. Enjoy the awesome after party including a great lunch and podium ceremonies.
With over 15 hours of daylight we thought we should do something to burn it up. An intensely long all-road race that will challenge even the most hard-core riders with two distance options so everyone can push themselves; hard. 100k (62smiles) or 200k (124 miles) pick your distance and come out for the challenge. The race will be hosted at Gears@Bike Surgeon in downtown O’Fallon, IL. Each entrant gets not only a full day of racing but a great post-race meal and drink to finish the day of racing off right. This self-supported race is being conducted in pure Cannonball style, on open roads with only your GPS for guidance rolling through five neighboring towns as you make your way around the 62-mile course road course.
Rolling from our favorite watering hole in all of Chester, Illinois, the St. Nicholas Landmark; the Gravel Standard takes you through the bluffs and hollers of the southern Illinois. With plenty of elevation and all kinds of chunky surfaces this race is sure to challenge all. There will be two distances this year at the Gravel Standard. The “Single X” will be ~40 miles and include 3,500 feet, the “Double X” with almost 6000′ of elevation and 71 miles.
