We are unveiling an all new gravel challenge for this year, the Groundhogs Soul Crusher gravel circuit race, it repeats over and over and over and over…..for 100K! The most challenging winter Cannonball ever, with a 2.6 mile course that has over 250’ of elevation gain per lap…..62 miles and 6000’ within the 24 laps all professionally scored with chip timing to ensure the utmost in timing accuracy. Race this one by yourself or with a teammate and bring your cheering squad as this is the most fan friendly gravel race in the country with great opportunities to watch the race happen all over the course. Bonfires, hooting, hollering, a great post-race meal, in-race nutrition support including hot drinks, a BYOB friendly racecourse and a heated rest area/race HQ, chip timing, everything you want for a great gravel race in the middle of winter!

The racing starts at 10AM on Saturday, 2/6/21 at Camp Ondessonk in Ozark, Illinois. Check in, race HQ and chip pickup will open at 8:30AM, as you arrive at camp follow the signs to this location. All registration and waivers will happen online. Online Registration will close February 5th at 12 Noon, there will be no day of registration. In the event that you or any members of your immediate household have experienced Covid like symptoms within the 10 days prior to the event or if you have an elevated temperature the day of the event, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a full refund of your registration fees.

When at the event, social distance of 6’ plus and masks are your responsibility, please do your part to not make this an issue for us or any other participant. At all times, when not on the bike racing, please make sure you wear your mask when 6’ of social distance is not possible or when inside race HQ. We ask that you have a mask with you on the ride for the unforeseen times when you might not be in a place to keep social distance (i.e. mechanical, sag pickup, incident). All participants must complete the online waiver here to complete their registration.
The post-race meal will available for finisher and guest after 2:30PM at race HQ. Prior to that we will have warm drinks and fresh fruit for racers and fans that come along for the day. Fan’s you say? Yes, bring your friends and family to this one, the course is great for observing and Camp has tons of great hiking and riding to make sure they have their own fun adventure. We will have bonfires, warm drinks and the heated race HQ along with maps of the trails at camp for everyone who comes. And they also get one of the great post-race meals all for only $10 (5YO and under are free).
The day of podium ceremony will happen post-race recognizing the top three overall females and males for each age group (up to 15) (16-19)(20-29)(30-39)(40-49)(50-59)(60+), top three overall male and female, and top three teams male, female and co-ed.
